Ethel Waters Featured Again On Savings Bonds' Program
NEW YORK - (ANP) - Ethel Waters of stage and screen fame is making her second appearance on the Treasury department's Guest Star program this week. Her performance began Sunday.
The well-liked Miss Waters joins Lena Horne and the King Cole Trio in appearing on the savings bonds' program more than once. Other Negro stars who have made appearances on the program are Louis Armstrong, Art Tatum, Sarah Vaughn, Count Basie, Mary Lou Williams, Errol Garner, the Mills Brothers, and the Delta Rhythm Boys.
