We are authorized to assure the publick that the body of merchants in Bristol, truly sensible of the baseness and injustice of the proceedings and sentence in the case of the ship A---, are determined to pursue such measures, to make a full and proper representation of the whole of that iniquitous affair, as will probably bring about some regulations in the proceedings of American courts of Vice Admiralty, as well as limitations of that exorbitant power lately vested in a sole judge: Events more ardently wished for by the particular owners of that vessel than any pecuniary satisfaction, or other gratification, to themselves.
