THIRD TRAINING CAMP WOULD MEAN ANOTHER MILLION

Washington, Sept. 12. Before spring 1,000,000 more drafted men will have been called to the colors, giving the nation an army of more than 2,000,000 men, according to an interpretation placed upon a statement by Secretary of War Baker, who said the war department is considering the question of establishing a third officers training camp.

Present plans contemplate retaining the 16 national army cantonments, the 16 national guard camps, and all the officers training camps as institutions so long as the war continues.
