In Love with Our Climate.

Charles Read and wife, of Salt Lake City, are registered at the Alturas Hotel. Mr. Read is one of the principal owners of the King of the West mine, in Smoky, and may remain here a week. This will not be so much because the mine requires his presence, as because he wishes his wife to enjoy a rest in our delightful climate. "I would not give a mouthful of your mountain air for a year of almost any other climate that I know of!" Mr. Read exclaimed this afternoon. From this place he will return to Salt Lake City, then to Eureka, Nev., where he is managing important mine operations.
