Mount Zion.

Farmers are busy putting away their hay in the rain. Hay is a very light crop this year, but prospects are good for oats. Corn in some places is very poor.

Mr. R. T. Layman is working for Mr. Thomas Frost.

George Pope is harvesting for Albert Michael.

Quite a number of the young folks attended children services at the Beall school house last Sunday and report a large crowd.

George L. Pope, Miss Maud Pope and Miss Jennie Turner spent Sunday in Frostburg.

Mount Zion Epworth League is in progress with about twenty members enrolled. B. F. Michael was the leader last Sunday and gave quite an interesting talk. The topic was the feeding of the five thousand. Albert Michael is the leader for next Sunday. We would be glad to see the church crowded.

The talk is now, are you going to camp meeting?

The shingle mill is booming.

Rev. J. H. Enlow preaches here next Sunday.

Thomas Layman made a trip to Oakland.

We notice James Layman around again, and glad to meet him.
