ANOTHER
"FIRST"

Seventeen-year-old Nathan Mitchell, 4528 Third Ave. So., chalked up another Minnesota "first" last week when he served as counsellor at St. Paul Bible Camp near Remer, Minn.

Nathan was in charge of boys ages 12 to 14.

The camp is operated by the Augustana Lutheran Synod in Minnesota and serves all boys and girls in the state coming under the church jurisdiction.

Nathan was the first Negro in the state ever to be appointed as camp counsellor.

The son of Mr. and Mrs. John Mitchell, Nathan and the entire family are members of St. Paul Lutheran Church where the Rev. Carl C. Sunwall is the pastor.
