Full Text

The loss by fire in the stores at Antwerp, is estimated at 5 million florins. Part of it is said to be American property. The American Consul has given assurances to M. Rogier, that his Government will demand reimbursement: and Holland, it is added, will pay the indemnity.

Antwerp.--We learn that a private letter, received in this city from Antwerp, written since the bombardment, states the loss in property to be very great, probably £2,000,000, a large proportion of which, we regret to learn, falls upon American merchants.--Patriot.
