SEATON NOT TO COME TO NOME

SEATTLE, (AP) - A last minute crush of congressional activity has delayed for a day, at least, the planned trip of Secretary of Interior Fred Seaton to Alaska.

United Airlines reported Tuesday.

A spokesman for the airline said Seaton had cancelled reservations which would have brought him into Seattle Tuesday, but had made tentative reservations for Wednesday. The spokesman said under present plans - still subject to change - he would leave for a tour of the territory Saturday.

The Chamber of Commerce received a phone call from Acting Gov. Waino Hendrickson, that due to the delay, Nome would not be on Seaton's itinerary.
