Gifted Young Tenor In Clark Recital
Mr. John Anglin, gifted young tenor who is winning high acclaim during his current tour, will appear in concert at Clark College this evening at 7:45 p. m. A native of Oklahoma City and a graduate of Xavier University, Mr. Anglin in the opinion of critics, is living up to the promise which he showed first as a boy soprano and then as a tenor possessing a voice of unusual richness and flexibility.
In addition to spirituals and operatic selections, Mr. Anglin will sing works by Bach. Haydn, Rachmaninoff. Tschaikowsky and Vidal.
He will be accompanied by Mr. Kelly Wyatt.
Mr. Anglin's concert is a part of the Sunday Evening Cultural series at Clark and is open to the public without cost.
