The ship Commerce, Chew, and Perseverance, Moore, each 41 days from Liverpool, arrived at New-York on Friday last, bringing London Papers to the 4th November. Except the unofficial copy of the French treaty, following are the only articles that have transpired.

Copenhagen, October 7.

"The government of Denmark has not been known to have any diplomatic character near the United States of America.--However, as the Commerce of Denmark has greatly increased, it has been deemed necessary and expedient to fill this post under the present circumstances. Our consul at Morocco, Blicher Olsen, has consequently been appointed minister resident from our court to the government of the United States ; and next spring will go thither in that capacity. His residence is to be at the city of Washington."
