Full Text

Waterford, Oct. 25. Last night we had a dreadful storm. A large ship from Norway, laden with deals, bound to Dublin, was wrecked in the entrance of our harbour, on the west side, near Nymph Hall. She carried between 5 and 600 tons, went to pieces immediately, and all the crew, except the carpenter, perished: her cargo is floated all over the harbour.

A coaler was likewise lost; and several ships were seen in the offing, in the afternoon, none of which are come in, so that we are in the utmost uneasiness about them, as it still blows at S. S. E.
