MR. TUCK'S WHIGGERY.—A letter "from as sound a whig as there is in the world" to the editor of the Nashua Telegraph says:

"There is not a more reliable whig in Congress than Mr. Tuck. He is a very intelligent, industrious, worthy representative, and is as certainly right in his votes upon all important whig measures, as any whig in Congress."

Yet the Independent leaders represent Tuck to be with the Democratic party on every national question, except Slavery! He cannot be with the Democrats on that, for the Boston Atlas endorses him as a good Taylor-man. Of course he goes for the 300 slaves.
