Full Text
Hard to think of such an exclamation from "Saint" Antonio as is herein given by the Light and Gazette of that burg: "Up at Austin the eagle eyed officials of the state government have made the startling discovery that some Dallas clubs that presumably have gentlemen upon their membership rolls have been dispensing drinks and cigars and allowing members to play pool and billiards within the precincts of the club. Shocking! And in Dallas, too! Unbelievable! Perhaps after all, there are other places as wicked as San Antonio. Which being the case, perhaps the North Texas reformers will find employment up there for their muckrakers within the limits of the city and not send them to San Antonio. This will be a sad blow to Guv'nor Tom."
