ANNEXATION IN LOUISIANA.

In the lower House of the Louisiana Legislature, on the 6th inst., (says the N. O. Crescent City.) the report of the special committee on that part of the Governor's message referring to the annexation of Texas being in order, several motions were made on the question of taking up the majority or minority report. The latter was finally taken up for consideration, and the resolution instructing the Senators, and requesting the Representatives of the State in Congress to vote for the immediate annexation of Texas to the U. S., was debated at some length. Messrs. Gavarre, Newport and Wadsworth advocated the adoption of the resolution, and Messrs. Parham, Campbell, Gaudet, Pilie and Gardere opposed it. The question on the adoption of the resolution was finally taken, and it was rejected by a vote of 20 yeas to 24 nays.
