Election of Officers and Adjournment—Ladies' Aid Society.
Wheeling, Aug. 17.—The national commandery of Sons of Veterans adjourned today, after electing the following officers:
Commander-in-chief, Gen. George B. Abbott of Illinois, re-elected by a majority of one over Gen. Leland J. Webb of Kansas and Gen. Frazee of Ohio, Webb being the principal competitor; lieutenant-general, H. Milham, St. Paul, Minn.; major-general, John Hinckley, Boston; council-in-chief, G. Braynard Smith, Connecticut. W. E. Bundy, Cincinnati, Rudolph Lee Bernstein, St. Joseph, C. B. Cook, Arlington, Dakota.
The next session will be held at Paterson, N. J.
The Ladies' Aid Society of the Sons of Veterans re-elected Mrs. W. D. O'Brien, of Ohio, national president.
