Traffic Rights

There is an effort being made in many of the large cities in the country to smooth out the conflicts that exist between drivers of public and private automobiles. It all grows out of the fact that too many drivers of taxicabs and busses get the notion that they and their companies own the rights of the highways. In consequence they begin by grabbing up more than their share of the parking space, and they follow this up by crowding private cars out of the traffic and out of the parking places. Hence, what is known as the bill of indictment drawn by the public against the bus and taxicab drivers. There have been civil wars for less cause.
