TALLAHASSEE - If you haven't got your 1954 auto license tag yet, you have until March 10 to buy it.
The Florida Motor Vehicle Commission has decided to interpret Acting Gov. Charley E. Johns' 15-day extension of the Feb. 20 tag sale deadline to exclude both Feb. 20 and Sundays from the count of the days.
It was announced at first the new deadline would be March 6 but with the new recalculation, it

And even before all the 1954 tags have been issued, the Cabinet has agreed on colors for the 1955 plates. It will be the same old orange and blue, with the colors reversed. Tag numbers are orange on a blue background this year.
Next year they will be blue on orange just like 1953.
