Senate of Massachusetts.
Saturday the 7th inst. the last day on which, by the Constitution of this Commonwealth, the returns of votes at the late election are permitted to be received in the office of the Secretary of State. By the returns which had been received, it is that the following is the political character of the Senate elect:
There was an informality in the returns of two towns from Berkshire, Had all the returns been legally made, there would have been no choice in this county.
