This afternoon the brigantine of war Comet, Capt. Edward Allen, returned from a cruise, with a sloop and schooner prizes, which he took off St. Augustine Bar last Thursday night. The schooner is called the Mary, Capt. Welch, belonging to Liverpool, bound to Augustine, from St. Vincent's, with 10 hogsheads of rum, 20 barrels of sugar, some dry goods, 2 Negroes, &c. The sloop is the Georgia, Capt. Coffens, of and from Jamaica for St. Augustine, with 7 puncheons of rum, 2 hogsheads of Muscovado sugar, 1 hogshead and 1 puncheon of refined sugar, 11 Negroes, &c. &c.
