Plaintiffs Will Receive Nothing John M. Mueller and Olin Holtz were given nothing in their suit against C. E. Jack Carrell. J. J. Foster, C. O. Thompson, George Lucas, H. S. Nichols and the Brawley Flying club, by reason of a judgment returned today by Judge A. C. Finney. Judge Finney found practically every material allegation in the complaint filed by Mueller and Holtz to be untrue, except that they owned certain land near Brawley. This land, the plaintiffs charged in their complaint, had been appropriated by the defendants for their own use. The complaint also charged the defendants had destroyed a wooden bridge and wire fence, and had filled in ditches on the property. Damages amounting to $1320 were asked. Judge Finney denied the request for damages, and directed that Mueller and Holtz pay costs of the suit.
