Geneva, Dec. 15. A proposal that the league of nations assume the duties now performed by Holland under the international opium convention regulating traffic in the drug was discussed today by the assembly. A "white slave" resolution suppressing traffic in women and children was unanimously adopted after an address by Miss Henni Forchhammer of Denmark, who pled for an investigation of conditions among women in Asia Minor and Armenia, where she said 20,000 women are in captivity.
