Full Text

HAGUE, October 8. Prince Gallitzin, the Russian Minister here, impatiently expects a Courier from General Count Romanzow, having received a Letter from that Officer last Sunday, advising that the Grand Vizier, encouraged by the little Advantage he gained over the Russian Troops at Giurgewo, had passed the Danube with his whole Army; and that he (Count de Romanzow) was marching in Order to meet him, and give him Battle. So that we may expect to hear of an Engagement, the Consequences of which may probably determine whether the War will continue, or Peace be concluded between the Turks and the Russians.
