These men in the above picture run four Municipal Councils of the Gold Coast: Accra, Cape Coast, Kumasi and Sekondi-Takoradi. The above delegates and officials recently got together for the second conference of the Association of Municipal Councils in the Gold Coast.
Councilman G. N. Alema of Accra was elected chairman of the conference. It formed three standing committees: administration and finance, Jones Nelson, Accra, chairman; development and work activities, Ohene La bi, Kumasi, chairman, and welfare and health, H. P. Nelson, Cape Coast, chairman.
