About To Leave Us.-Rev. James Alderson, who has been so long pastor of the Primitive Methodist church in this village that he seems a part of it, is as our readers have seen, about to remove to Hazel Green to take the pastorate of the church there. The people will bid him "good by" with sincere regret. They all love him, young and old. To such men as Mr. Alderson ones heart goes out at once, and to them the tribute of respect is always paid. Upright, without pride, dignified without pomposity, he is a cheerful, Christian gentleman, whom it is a pleasure to know, and a cause of regret to part from. We commend him to the Hazel Green people with whom we have no doubt he will become as great a favorite as he has been and is here......He will preach his good-by sermons next Sunday at 2 and 6 p. m.
