THE STAR IN BALTIMORE.
To-day our canvassers commence operations in the city of Baltimore. We shall be under obligations to the friends of the paper for all the help they may be disposed to give us. It is at the urgent request of a number of our friends in Baltimore, that we have been induced to make an effort to get up routes in that city. If Baltimore papers circulate largely in Washington, we see no reason why a well conducted Washington penny paper should not circulate in Baltimore. The Star will be delivered in Baltimore on and after the second of January, by faithful carriers, on the evening of its issue, at 6 cents per week.
