Accident on the Marietta and Cincinnati Railroad.-Yesterday morning a freight train on the Marietta and Cincinnati Railroad ran over three horses while on Walnut Creek bridge, near Monroe, about sixty-five miles from this city. The locomotive was thrown from the track, and breaking through the bridge, drew four cars, loaded with iron and coal, down with it. A fireman from Chillicothe, named Peter Cowden, was killed; the engineer, S. B. Spalding, was seriously injured, as also a brakeman, whose name is not given. The cars were very badly damaged.
