The Eureka Leader of the 1st, publishes the following exhibit of the present condition of the State University fund, together with the proposed action of the Board of Regents with regard to the placing of the surplus amount on hand, and the general arrangement of the affairs of the institution:

"There is now coin in the Treasury uninvested, to-wit: In State University 90,000-acre grant, Fund, $12,987.49; in State University Fund proper, $19,894.30, subject to occasional rebate for money paid for purchase of land. This fund is under the control of the Board of Regents. There will be a meeting of the Board of Regents held at Carson City on the 11th instant, at which time arrangements will be made for the investment of at least $30,000 of the money now idle in the Treasury. At the same meeting the Regents will adopt a list of books for use in the University, and generally arrange the matters of the institution, so as to make it what it has been intended to be, a first-class institution."
