The Nevada and Northern Telegraph Line.

We are informed that the Government has made arrangements with the owners of the Nevada and Northern telegraph line, whereby the military are to have the use of the wire for repairing it. The line extends from Winnemucca to Walla Walla, and runs through the Indian country by way of Camp McDermit and Fort Boise, and is of great service to the military in time of war. It is estimated that it will be much cheaper for the Government to repair the line and keep it in repair than to pay for General Howard's dispatches in the event of another Indian war next summer.
