DECATUR NEWS
M.C.O.D.C.H. AME CHURCH
Sunday was a high day at the church. Sunday school at 9:30 a.m., with the election of new officers. They were as follows: Joseph Glass, superintendent; Miss Willie Bush, secretary; Miss Pauline Howard, pianist; Miss Jeen Savage, treasurer.
The pastor preached a wonderful sermon Sunday morning.
A large number of members took part in the morning and evening communion. Dean C. L. Hill preached a splendid sermon Sunday night.
The pastor is asking all members of Choir No. I to meet at the home of Mrs. Annie Chewing, 108 Marshall street. We are asking all to pray for the sick: Mrs. Violet Brooks and Mrs. Mary Randolph.
