Mrs. Rachel Robinson of Sarahsville, who is basking in the limelight of 93 years, was a great-grandmother three different times last week, an unusual record for any nonagenarian.
Mrs. Robinson was only mildly disturbed last Tuesday, when Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Watkins of Pleasant City announced the birth of a daughter at St. Francis hospital, Cambridge. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. A. F. Watkins. Mrs. Robinson is the great-grandmother.
But when Mrs. Robinson became a great-grandmother again on Thursday and Friday of the same week, she perked right up for one of her advanced years and glories in the fact that she was a great-grandmother three times in almost as many days.
On Thursday, Mr. and Mrs. Don Niswonger of Maple Heights announced the birth of a daughter at Zanesville. Mr. and Mrs. Thornton Niswonger and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Sharkus are the grandparents. Mrs. Robinson is the great-grandmother.
On Friday, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Craft, of Fulda, announced the birth of a daughter at Thompson hospital, weighing eight pounds. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Carter Robinson of Olive and Edward Craft of Fulda.
You guessed it. Mrs. Rachel Robinson is the great-grandmother.
