MICHAEL E. FLANIGAN, 50-year BRTer of William M. McKaig Lodge 440, Cumberland, Md., is shown receiving his half-century emblem from National Legislative Representative Harry See in a recent ceremony. General Secretary and Treasurer D. A. MacKenzie, in a letter to Flanigan, praised him for his long membership and said he knew that BRT officers and members were proud of having "the opportunity of associating with an 'old rail' like yourself." Thirty-seven other members were awarded pins, ranging from 10 to 35 years membership, at the meeting.
