To Print Journals.
The senate and house concurred in a resolution by Levang, amended by Jacobson, that 3,000 copies of the senate journal of Jan. 29 and an equal number of the house journal of Jan. 26, detailed final action on H. B. No. 44 in each body, be printed.
Want Hotel Inspectors.
Senator Paulson presented a resolution from the Minot council, United Commercial Travelers, protesting against the abolishment of the office of hotel inspector.
For and Against Lid
Lengthy petitions were received by both houses yesterday, both for and against the Sunday lid. The petitions in the house included one from Grand Forks bearing 520 signatures.
Two petitions opposing a repeal of the Sunday blue laws came in from Bismarck, one from the First Presbyterian church and another from John Hutch-ins and others. Petitions were presented from Senator Allen's district asking that the Sunday laws be repealed, as not interfering with religious worship. and from Killdeer petitioning for the opening of theatres on Sundays.

Senate bills introduced yesterday were:
S. B. No. 124, Martin—For a non-partisan tax commission.
S. B. No. 125, Carey—For an excise privilege tax on capital stock of foreign corporations.
S. B. No. 126, Carey—Relating to taxation of corporations.
S. B. No. 127. Beck—Fixing the time when policies of companies insuring owners against loss by fire, tornado and lightning shall take effect.
S. B. No. 128, Hunt—Relating to the duty of the county auditor.
S. B. No. 129, Porter—Appropriating money to reimburse W. A. Stickley for services performed for state board of immigration.
S. B. No. 130, Sandstrom—Relating to the building of dipping tanks in every township.
S. B. No. 131, Cahill—Relating to voting privileges of members of co-operative corporations.
S. B. No. 132, Committee on Appropriations—To reimburse Dr. E. F. Ladd for expenses incurred by him in defense of legal actions brought against him by certain corporations in connection with his enforcement of the pure food laws of the state.
S. B. No. 133, Welford—Relating to the relief of poor persons.
S. B. No. 134, Carey—Relating to taxes for roads.
S. B. No. 135, Allen—Permitting co-operative and assessment life associations to transact business in this state.
S. B. No. 136, Appropriation Committee—To appropriate $4,312,404.60 for expenses of executive, legislative and judicial departments of the state government.
