Where Is Gen. Lee?—A Washington correspondence of the St. Louis Republican writes that a portion of Gen. Lee's troops are engaged in relaying the plank upon the plank road between Fredericksburg and Orange Court House. Evidence of the fact was discovered during the late reconnaissance. Mrs. Gen. Lee lately presented a party of soldiers engaged in the work with thirty-seven pairs of gloves made by her own hands. The object of the rebel general in repairing this road at this time is a matter of much speculation. One thing is generally conceded, that it is pretty good evidence he has no notion of taking the back track.
