OTHER GAMING CASES
Cases brought against Dick Milam, Baird Nixon and Homer Hendrickson, arrested Sunday by Constable R. W. King for alleged gaming, were continued today after the court had heard the case against Frank Kennamer, the fourth member of the party. Mr. Kennamer practically submitted his case and paid a fine of $10. The three others contested and Justice of the Peace G. M. Easterwood continued their cases until December 22, when Prosecuting Attorney G. Otis Bogle will be present to represent the state.
Mr. Bogle was compelled to return to Brinkley last night on account of the illness of his daughter. Bonds for the three were fixed at $100 each.
Constable King said that no leniency would be shown these defendants or others arraigned for similar offenses. Where conviction can not be obtained otherwise, he said, the prosecuting attorney will be called and the full penalty of the law inflicted wherever the evidence warrants. He said aggressive action, more aggressive than heretofore, would be taken against gaming in any form.
