ON TELEPHONE CALLS.—The telephone operator who replied to my note warning users of measured service will have difficulty in convincing her employers that it is not possible for the subscriber to be charged with calls he doesn't get.

The telephone company warns the subscriber as I did on the meters it installs, on request, for $3. On the front of this meter they say:

"If you do not get the number called notify the operator and the call will not be registered."

My criticism is that the company does not issue this warning in any other way and does not suggest that
