REVAMPED MORRIS BROWN WOLVERINES SET FOR TILT WITH TUSKEGEE TIGERS

Far from satisfied with the all-around performance of the Purple Wolverines against the Florida Rattlers, Coaches Artis P. Graves and A. J. Lockhart have revamped the Morris Brown eleven for their forthcoming engagement with Tuskegee's Golden Tigers. The Morris Brown mentors have directed their attention toward building a more aggressive line and a backfield with more pep and a knockout scoring punch. These corrective measures, however, will mean very little unless the Wolverines really become imbued with what the old-timers call "that good old Morris Brown spirit."

The primary problem for the Wolverines will be to stop the Golden Tigers' deceptive "T" formation with a man in motion. Meanwhile, Head Coach Graves is banking on putting Tuskegee on the defensive with the Wolverine wide-open offensive play. The Morris Brown line will drill hard this week in blocking, so as to open holes for the powerhouse running attack and also in providing adequate protection for the Wolverine passers.
