PICK-UP ON FALL TOURISTS AS EXHIBITION EXTENDS TO OCTOBER
JERUSALEM, (JTA) - Expansion of the tourist traffic to Israel through mid-October is expected as a result of the scheduled September 22-October 14 "Conquest of the Desert" Exhibition here.
Adding further to hopes for an extended tourist season is the fact that the Maccabiah is scheduled during the same period.
A number of countries will participate in the "Conquest of the Desert" occupying a display area which totals upward of 20,000 square meters.
