Full Text
The scurrilous remarks on the supposed author of the "Letter to a Federalist," are in unison with all that low dirty conduct which emphatically designates the tory faction. When they cannot reason, they attempt to defame. The base reflections in the Centinel, are beneath the notice of a gentleman or a scholar, and no man, but the editor, and persons of equal detestable mind and manners, could be guilty of calumniating in such gross terms, the author of a publication, so candid in its principles, and so free from personal invective. But the author has this consolation, that by " their Roaking, he has hit them right."
