Awards Presented at Court of Honor Scout Court of Honor
Troop C6, Boy Scouts of America, with Ben Johnson as Scoutmaster, did a Court of Honor this week with many boys advancing in Scout work.
The Multipurpose Room was filled with not only parents and friends, but members of Troop 63, whose Scoutmaster is Don Bruckner and the Cub Scout Pack who came to see what big Scouts do.
Highest honor was conferred on Lloyd Hardy, who became a Star Scout and got merit badges for personal fitness, firemanship.
New First Class Scouts are Max Johnson, with merit badges in hiking and firemanship; Mike Blanning, James Kelliher, Donny Young, with merit badges in aquatics and first aid; Mike O'Connor, firemanship: Mike Thompson.
Second Class Scouts are Robert Walsh and Lonnie O'Connor.
Walter Peterson was awarded a merit badge in hiking.
Tenderfoot Scouts are Wallie Sanders, James Gray, Jim Wilke, Allan Scott, Ernest Muller, Marty Jocius, Jimmy Kelliher, Ed Oquilluk, Duffy Green and Johnny Green.
