Letter from Barbados, dated March 15:

On the 10th instant arrived here his majesty's ship Emerald, Capt. Cornwall, in 49 days from Spithead, with 44 vessels, for the different Islands. They came out with the West-India trade, under convoy of the Hampshire, Capt. Norbury, and this ship with the Kinsale; and they were to have touched at Fayal, to put on board the Kinsale 600 pipes of wine for the army and navy on the present expedition; but parted with them two days after they left Spithead, and have not heard of them since tho' these ships beat five days off Fayal.
