'Lady Luck' Was Right On Job

LOS ANGELES, Aug. 16. (U.P.)—An automobile containing three men today plunged over a steep embankment, hung for an instant on high tension wires 15 feet below the edge, then spilled the men another 15 feet to a roadway below. One man was knocked unconscious, while the other two suffered bruises and cuts. All three were arrested on charges of intoxication. Police said the unique accident climaxed a hilarious, all-night party. The two men less severely injured, gave their names as Frank Welch, 28, and Diego Beltran, while the third was unidentified.
