Full Text

A Sweet Tooth.—Some rogue, having a very sweet tooth, and who, like many others, could not withstand temptation when it is well sugared, got into the yard of Mr. Sylvester, the druggist, at the corner of I. th street and the Avenue, the other night, and guzzled the syrup which he had been manufacturing for the purposes of the soda water business. It was a pity that the doctor had not been aware beforehand of what was going to take place, and well physicked the delicious article for the thief. A dose of jalap might have been well applied, and have made the fellow know better another time.
