WORCESTER, July 26. Information is given to General Gage of matters in our army, &c. by persons in women's clothing. Who or what they were is not known to our informant; Gage's army was thought to be 6000 strong, but greatly intimidated; the regiments that arrived last at Boston, were as follows, viz. light dragoons, 17th, Col. George Preston, 120 men; foot, 35th, Col. Henry Campbell; 49th, Alexander Maitland; 63d, Francis Grant; 420 men each. Regiments destined for New York, but ordered to Boston by Gage: 22d, General Thomas Gage; 40th, Sir Robert Hamilton; 44th, James Abercrombie (killed at Bunker's Hill) 45th, William Haviland; 420 men each. The whole number of the King's troops lately arrived at Boston, 3060.
