Harvard University. The last annual catalogue of the officers and students of this institution, informs us, that the whole number of the latter is four hundred and seven, of which one hundred and seventy-three are graduates, and two hundred and thirty four are under graduates. Thirty-five of the graduates belong to the Theological School, one hundred and twenty-seven to the Medical, and ten to the Law School. Of the under graduates. seventy-six are from Boston, and seventeen from this town. Among the improvements recently adopted by the government, is a letter addressed by the President to every parent who has children among the under graduates of this institution, informing him of their rank as scholars, and of their habits of industry and attention to the College regulations. This information is to be given at the expiration of every term. The annual expenses for instruction at Harvard. are estimated at one hundred and seventy-six dollars.
