Powerful Chicago Leader Is Dead--His Bodyguard Is Dying
CHICAGO, Sept. 8.--Seething gangland has again erupted, this time in the heart of the city at the rush hour.
The latest flare-up cost the life of Tony Lombardo, powerful gangster and intimate of Al Capone, recently slain. Joseph Ferrara, bodyguard, was also shot and will probably die.
Both men were shot in the back. Frank Krejola was arrested at the scene of the shooting.
Besides the two bodies, two pistols were found, left by the assassins.
