Last Thursday the bottom of the dam near the depot went out and Bragg & Morris have been engaged there repairing the breach. The water having been drained from the mill pond the village took this opportunity to rebuild their sewer which empties into the pond and the Farmers Mutual Creamery Co. are laying over their abutment wall. The owners of the dam have long contemplated a new structure and work will be commenced at once by an expert on a new dam to be built about 50 feet below the present structure.
