One of Only a Few Schools in State That Has Attained This Very Important Recognition
As a result of the continuous and untiring efforts on the part of Superintendent Morgan, the Board and others, Paris high school is now an accredited school in the North-Central Association of Schools and Colleges, which is one the highest ratings it can attain.
While there are thirty-odd Class A high schools in Arkansas, only a few have gained recognition by the North-Central Association. To be accredited in this association means that any graduate of the Paris school, while a member of the association, will be accepted as a Freshman at any college in the association without examination or further certifications of credits.
Due to Mr. Morgan's efforts the Paris school gained recognition in the Southern Association a few years ago, but this additional promotion gives us still greater distinction, for which we can justly be proud.
