Superintendent Hawk Makes Hard
Trip Into Nevada.

W. P. S. Hawk, superintendent of the sixth district of the western division of the Postal Telegraph company has returned from a hard, but interesting trip into Nevada, with Ely as his objective point.

The trip was made in an automobile, 600 miles being covered in the machine and five mountain ranges crossed getting into Ely. Superintendent Hawk followed the line of poles that is to connect Ely and Salt Lake by wire and reports the work going on rapidly.
