Lord Chief-Justice Coleridge at St. Louis.
ST. LOUIS, Mo., Sept. 28.-Chief-justice Coleridge and party visited the manufacturing school of Washington University this morning, in company with a committee of prominent lawyers. They then visited the Merchants' Exchange, where his Lordship was introduced by President Ewald and made a very brief speech, thanking the merchants for their kindly welcome. In the afternoon the party was taken on an excursion several miles down the river on the United States steamer General Gilmore, and on their return visited the Vulcan Steel Works and cotton compress.
