CARD OF THANKS.
To the voters of Pike County:
After a long and tedious canvass, I was on the 29th of July nominated for county treasurer, and now I wish to express my heartfelt thanks to my friends and supporters who stood by me so bravely. And for those who opposed me I have the kindest of feelings, for it is my nature to love my neighbor. And I hope, by a faithful discharge of my duties in office, you will never regret having confided so important a trust in me. I also wish to return many thanks to the ladies of old Pike for the part they took, and for the many courtesies shown me during my canvass.
With best wishes for all I am
Your obedient servant,
S. B. WILLIAMS.
